Lilies I: The
Inside of tepals lemon-yellow, shading to yellowish
white towards margins and at tips; throat apple-green.
Spots absent; papillae present; nectaries apple-green;
pollen dark brown; stigma purple. Fls scented; tepals
of medium length to long and of medium width to
broad, margins strongly ruffled, tips strongly recurved.
Stems 1.8m or more, dark green. Late July to early Aug.
Unacceptable name (ICNCP, 2009: Art. 30.1), this
epithet having already been established for an Asiatic
lily registered by Vletter en den Haan. It is
recommended that whenever this epithet is used the
raiser’s name be cited, to minimize the potential
